For more than 65 years, Paul’s Fan Company has been building more than industrial ventilation equipment in Buchanan County, Virginia. We’ve been building careers, developing skills, and carrying forward a manufacturing tradition rooted in the people of Southwest Virginia.
October is Manufacturing Month, and we’re taking the opportunity to recognize the people and the work behind the equipment we manufacture.

Every day, the work happening inside our manufacturing facilities reaches far beyond our community.
Our fans and ventilation equipment support operations in mining, steel production, metal recycling, lumber and wood processing, and other industries where dependable equipment helps keep production moving.
Behind every completed project are the skills of welders, machinists, fabricators, engineers, technicians and experienced craftsmen who understand what it takes to build equipment for demanding industrial environments.
Their work reflects generations of practical knowledge, problem-solving and pride in doing the job right.

Manufacturing has changed considerably since Paul’s Fan Company began in 1958. Advanced machining, modern manufacturing processes and new technologies continue to expand what we’re capable of producing.
But one of our most important resources hasn’t changed: the knowledge and experience of our people.
That expertise is developed over years of hands-on work and passed along as experienced employees help the next generation learn their trades.
